Graduate Courses for Teachers 2009
For over 40 years, the Freedoms Foundation has presented critically-acclaimed, accredited graduate courses for teachers. Our Summer 2009 programs feature visits to historical sites, led by noted historians who provide vivid insight, interpretation and perspective to the events and people that shaped American history.

Graduate Credit Granted By:
Program Information:
- Tuition is $1,200 per person, per program. $600 is due upon acceptance, with balance at beginning of the program.
- For the 2 workshops, tuition covers double-occupancy hotel accommodations, admissions, tour transportation, and one graduate credit (meals not included).
- For the We the People seminar, tuition covers lodging at the Freedoms Foundation's Valley Forge campus, meals, instruction, admissions, tour transportation, meals and one graduate credit.
Scholarships:
- Through the generosity of the MJ Murdock Charitable Trust, scholarships are available for qualified teachers from the following states: ALASKA, IDAHO, MONTANA, OREGON and WASHINGTON.
- For We The People, scholarships are available for Pennsylvania teachers on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Financial assistance and scholarships are available for teachers from other states, also on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact the Freedoms Foundation's Education Office at (610) 933-8825 ext. 292 for more information.
Accreditation:
Each program includes one graduate credit hour, which is granted by Immaculata University (www.immaculata.edu). Enrolled students who wish to earn either two or three credits must pay $100 for each additional hour directly to Immaculata University at the beginning of the program. Auditors are admitted only by special arrangement.
