Freedoms Foundation Address

Welcome

Founded in 1949 as a non-profit education organization, Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge is dedicated to helping students, teachers and citizens gain a greater awareness and appreciation of the principles of a free and democratic society.
With the support of our national volunteer chapters, we present educational and awards programs to foster engaged citizenship, through the exploration of civics, US history, student entrepreneurship, youth leadership, and constitutional rights and responsibilities. Our purpose is to educate and inspire citizens of all ages and encourage them to make a positive contribution in their communities.

Mission and Vision

The Foundation's educational mission is grounded in love of country and the belief that the continuation of the American form of government can only be ensured if the American people understand the unique principles--as expressed in the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights--upon which the nation was founded.

The Foundation's vision is that young people and adults will gain new and deep appreciation for the rationale and enduring relevance of the Constitution and other founding documents and acquire tools of effective citizenship while participating in the programs offered by Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge.
