On May 20, 2012, Freedoms Foundation and the Friends of the Medal of Honor Grove will celebrate Heroes Day. Come celebrate with us as we recognize the service and sacrifice of our Medal of Honor Recipients, some of whom will be address the crowd. Special guests Pennsylvania Lt. Governor James Cawley and families of fallen MOH recipients will help honor these heroes. All Together Charlie and the Olde City Band will provide great music to help create a festival atmosphere. The Miltary Order of the World Wars sponsored the Spirit of America Youth Leadership Conference April 19 - 22, 2012. Students attended from Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Elizabethtown in Pennsylvania as well as San Diego, California. Fifteen of the students and three chaperones were sponsored by the Pennsylvania Society of the Sons of the Revolution. Check out the photo gallery. |
