An Evening with Freedoms Foundation Fundraiser

Sponsored by Mr. & Mrs. John C. Heenan and Mr. & Mrs. Wallace Nunn

April 11, 2018

During the summer of 2018, we will offer 8 programs enrolling 400 teachers.  Our goal for this event is to raise sufficient funds to increase our scholarship awards for teachers to attend these professional development courses.  The return on investing in these teachers is the potential for them to reach over 40,000 students during the 2018/2019 school year.

Every dollar raised at our event directly supports our mission of educating about American rights and responsibilities, honoring acts of civic virtue, and rejecting apathy and getting involved.

The evening of celebration includes cocktails, dinner, and silent auction. Stay tuned for more information on our online auction.

2018 Distinguished Citizen Award Recipients

At this year’s event, we are honored to recognize the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, John Aglialoro, and Joan Carter as Freedoms Foundation’s Distinguished Citizen Award Recipients.

The M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust seeks to enrich the quality of life in the Pacific Northwest by providing grants and enrichment programs to nonprofit organizations that seek to strengthen the region’s educational, spiritual , and cultural base in creative and sustainable ways.

Ms. Carter and Mr. Aglialoro are co-founders of UM Holdings, Ltd., a firm that owns and manages a portfolio of companies with a mission to increase net worth through appreciation in the value of an evolving array of assets.

She is the Chairman of the Abraham Lincoln Foundation, which is a leader within the Civil War community, and Chairman of FreedomWorks Foundation, a grass roots organization dedicated to individual liberty and free markets.
