Thanks to the generosity of our donors and supporters, we’re able to make significant campus improvement projects to ensure the longevity of our education programs for students and teachers. Check out our project highlights below!

Sewer Project

We recently completed our multi-year transition from an expensive on-lot treatment plant to a public sewer connection. This project provides us with the necessary long-term, sustainable infrastructure we need for years to come.

Campus Lighting

Past National AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary President and current Freedoms Foundation board member Marvell Ruppel helped raise $62,000 to replace the outdoor lighting on campus to enhance the safety and security of program participants, staff, and local community members. The old lamps have been removed, and work is underway to replace the antiquated wiring for the new lights.

MacArthur Windows

Past National AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary President Joan Sirek raised $93,000 to remove and replace 82 windows in the MacArthur building, which houses a classroom, dining hall, and dorm rooms. Exterior trim painting and repairs are also in progress.

Entrance Repairs

Mike Niklauski from The Union League of Philadelphia graciously volunteered his time to help repaint and replace the fence boards lining the entrance to our campus. Mike’s hard work has made a tremendous impact, and his kindness and dedication humble us.

Don’t Forget…

We are still accepting applications for our 2023 graduate-level professional development teacher programs.
