In the summer of 2024, our professional development seminars will be held at the Union League Liberty Hill’s 300+ acre property! These programs allow you to immerse yourself in high-quality discussions with peers as you connect with extraordinary scholars and thinkers. Your experience will include historical site visits that connect to the curriculum and provide you with classroom resources guaranteed to excite your students.
Liberty Hill, nestled between Valley Forge and Philadelphia, will allow participants access to its state-of-the-art lecture halls, private 18-hole golf course, newly renovated hotel rooms, restaurants, pickleball court, gym, and more!!
When Can I Apply?
Applications for our summer 2024 seminars and programs will open to JCL members on December 1, 2023, on the JCL portal.
Applications will open to the public on January 1, 2024.
The first round of acceptances will begin on 2/29/24. Applications received after 2/29/24 will be processed on a rolling basis.

How much does it cost?
Individual teacher seminars start at $1,500, and the traveling workshop starts at $1,650. A majority of teachers qualify for financial assistance through scholarships and travel stipends. Freedoms Foundation can assist you in identifying the sponsorships available. Contact us today.
