Thanks to three area donors, students from Laurel High School will travel in April to Valley Forge and Philadelphia with Laurel history teacher Amy Caldeira.Alivia Webinger, Owen Foote and Nathan Stewart, all juniors at LHS, were selected to be the first in this area to attend the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge where they will work with primary documents and participate in a mock congress with other students from across the country.They were chosen to represent three counties, including Yellowstone, Stillwater and Carbon counties.“Our goal is to grow this thing and select one student from each county,” Caldeira said.
