This week-long seminar seeks to explore the challenges faced by the first five presidents of the United States as they built from scratch a new nation based on the blueprints of the Founding Documents. Topics could include the Whiskey Rebellion, Alien and Sedition Acts, Louisiana Purchase, War of 1812, the Monroe Doctrine, and more.

What types of seminars are available?

When do applications open?

Applications will open to Joshua Chamberlain League members on December 1, 2023, and to the public on January 1, 2024.

When will I receive notification of my acceptance?

Acceptances will begin on February 29, 2024. Applications received after February 29, 2024, will be processed on a rolling basis. Please direct additional questions to grad@ffvf.org.
